Welcome to ClassCart. By using our service, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree to our Terms, you must not use our service.

1. Eligibility

ClassCart is intended for use by schools and their authorised staff. It may also be used, optionally, by their students.

2. Privacy and Data Protection

We take your privacy obligations seriously at ClassCart. Throughout our sites, we adhere to security best practices, with our sites only available via secure links (HTTPS).

We collect essential information for the use of ClassCart such as your school name, names and email addresses of teachers and school staff. This is the only information that is necessary for the use of ClassCart, but other information makes the program more useful.

Orders, recipes, and ingredients are permanently deleted 30 days after user deletion. All other user information is permanently deleted when deleted on the website or via user request. No data is permanently stored.

We use cookies throughout our sites.

3. Use of Service

Users must agree to:

  • provide accurate order and class information;
  • use the platform in good faith and not for any illegal activity;
  • not send unsolicited electronic messages via the website;
  • not use the website to the detriment of others, such as tampering with the website, breaching others' privacy, harassing other users or transmitting viruses;

Users may upload data and files in several circumstances, such as uploading user information when inviting teachers to ClassCart, or uploading a recipe image, or recipe file. All files are only used for the stated purpose. Users must ensure that uploaded files do not infringe third-party rights.

We (ClassCart) reserve the right to terminate a user's services at any time, for violating the terms of service.

ClassCart is for non-commercial use only.

4. Limitation of Liability

ClassCart is not responsible for:

  • how secure the site is;
  • how users use the site, including errors in ordering, supplier delivery issues, or food quality;
  • the content and security of third-party sites.

ClassCart is not liable for indirect damages.

Additional Rights We Retain

  • If you select a username or similar identifier for your account, we may change it if we believe it is appropriate or necessary (for example, if it is deemed offensive or inflammatory).
  • If you use content covered by intellectual property rights that we have and make available on our websites (such as logos, images), we retain all rights to our content (but not yours).
  • Permission to use your username, school name, school logo in marketing materials and on our websites.
    You give us permission to show your username, school name, and school logo in images of the ClassCart website that we may use for marketing purposes. For example we may show a screenshot of the recipe discovery page, showing recipes shared by teachers from many schools. Such images may include your name and/or school name and logo.

5. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of ClassCart after changes implies acceptance. Please check the site regularly to be aware of the current terms.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia.
